Hello,

I am strat and this is my website.

I used to have a more flashy site but that is not nessesary and I think websites should focus more on content and accessibility over novelty graphics. You can still see it here, though.

I host my own Minecraft servers and Forgejo instance and I run an AWS instance for my websites. I am best at low level programming but have experience with most areas. My favorite languages are C and Rust (still learning Rust).

Things I know: C, Rust, Intel ASM, Python, JS, Bash, Linux, SIMD

I love snow and mountains and I like to go snowboarding. I recently started learning German and honestly it is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but it's still fun and very interesting to see where English and German overlap. I think I'll make a German version of this site when I'm good enough...

Proprietary licensing is a massive hindrance to progress. Companies are actively and intentionally stripping the rights that the customer have with the software that they purchase. The only fix is to loose the motivator of profit from the area of software development. Many massive projects have done it--linux, ffmpeg, blender--and there should be no reason for more not to follow.
